ViTrains Class 37 Replacment Horns

Hello,
Have bought a ViTrains Class 37 37428 (David Lloyd George) but the horns were broken. Bought of the internet and would not do it again due to the un-helpfulness of the shop and the item arriving damaged. Is there any way of getting replacement horns for this item?

replacement horns ought to be available from the importer's??.........[on the earlier vitrains issues....of which DLG is one.....horns broken in transit[or whatever van they were shipped in] were a problem, which Vitrains seem to have addressed with later issues]

HOWEVER......I'd be inclined to check out Howes of Oxford...who stock diesel detail parts.......and get some nice cast replacements?

whilst you're at it......get some Shawplan etched roof fans....maybe even some etched cab windows....for pennies these improve the model no end.......although even I have to admit, the Bachmann #37 for a couple of quid more addresses most detail issues....

BRM mag, for the last month or so, have been running a conversion of a #37 to the heavywight, petrol sector type.....and used a vitrains model as a starting point......of interest is the first article, which covers detail work which improves the vitrains model....which is an excellent runner, if I do say so.

Have also bought a Vitrains class 37 and needed a part as i dropped the model, i contacted the hobby co who import Vitrains on 01908-209480 and received the replacement parts within 4 days, the service was brilliant and nothing was a problem, suggest you give them a call let me know how you get on
As soon as the problem manifested itself The Hobby Company sent bags of replacements to retailers so that any damaged in transit could be replaced. They sent black and silver out so all versions could be covered.
