Whilst searching for pictures of Claughtons, I came across this site.
It contains a number of nice old photographs from various Warwickshire engine sheds - and stations, but I have not looked beyond the sheds yet. Engines range through some 2-2-2s, Kirtleys, Patriots, Midland 4-4-0s, tanks (including Flatirons) and of course Claughtons.
QUOTE I think I posted that link on another thread a while ago - still nice to see someone else found it as well.
Ah, I've not been here that long. I was wondering if it should be added to the links section on this site - I checked there before posting, and as it was not included there thought others might find it useful.
I've added it, but with no 'link button'. What is a 'link button' (my guess is a small thumbnail to click on - but what size?) and can I add one later?

I think that's the idea alright. I've never supplied a link button with any of the links I've submitted. As for adding one later, you could check to see if the facility exists on current links. I would check but as mod, I might have "special" powers that would make my answer misleading.
It looks like the 'link' can be modified, whatever that means, but I don't have access to the ones already on there (a good thing, really). I'll wait until it's on as that may because only moderators and perhaps the originator can change things. Meanwhile I'll try making little buttons out of one of the pictures from the site.
QUOTE Link is now there smile.gif as 'Warwickshire Railways', and yes, I could modify it and add a rather sorry-looking button dry.gif . I must have 'special powers' over that one link cool.gif .
