Hi,
Just thought I'd post about the newly released book by George Dent. This is "Volume 1 - Locomotives and Rolling Stock". I ordered it in advance from Amazon about two months ago and received it yesterday. RRP is £18.99.
I had a good stab at reading through it last night and have to say it is a very good book worthy to add to any model maker's library.
The book does cover the basics and advanced methods well but one has to practice the art as they say, this isn't something that will magically happen overnight from just reading the book. This book has a good overlap with the book "Airbrushing for Railway Modellers" also by George Dent.
I look forward to volume 2 of this series covering buildings and scenery.
Cheers
