Tony,
I would be just as concerned at the apprantly hooded character entering the sheep pen, fortunately the Shepherd seems to have an eye on him, I suppose he might be a sheep rustler or worse???!!

That is a handsome collection of locos, I must confess that the core of my fleet are re-homed locos I see it as a fostering home to repair and restore them for a better life.

Thank you as ever and do keep it all coming.
Simon.

Tony,
What can I say I look away from the forum for a few days and there you go. I agree with you on the look of the five, the shape is all there for me. I wasn't aware of the numbers issue so we all learn don't we.

Great to see she has been busy, 60022 was out on specials in her place I wondered where she was, I shall have a chat with Norman to let me know about rostering changes.

The naming is surely overdue bearing in mind the role said character had in the shaping of the railways in the area?

Great stuff as ever Tony and thank you for sharing it all (the joke about the shearer had me and Mrs. CVR1865 in stitches)
Thanks

Hi Tony,
Great update.

A pair of named 47s is just what you need. Princess Arthur hey? I really like that name with all locos being referred to as she and mostly named after Men does it have the ultimate loco name?

Good to see Fred is getting some practice in, some say he will need it.

all the best

Tony,
Great update there. Nice mix of coaches in the LMS rake behind the belle. Now is that a duchess, 8F, jubilee and a WD all awaiting the off from Eccles? Very nice.

Lovely looking A4 as well, of all the BR liveries I think the blue suits the A4 best, is it a Bachmann original or one of your own? Great stuff anyway and thanks for sharing.

Oh I nearly forgot to ask, when is the first round of the World toilet door sitting Championship and is Fred going to get a good run (oohps) this year.

Thanks

Tony,
You are of course right a Black 5 not a Green Jubilee. I see the note re Hither Green, I will have a look over there tonight on my way home didn't know they housed WDs of any sort. I beleive they still have a turntable there though.

Thanks

Hi Tony,
Nice to see another update.

Apple green on the Great western, I am sure Collett is getting dizzy. Looks good though nice and bright.

Lovely shots of the time there and in colour too all the better.

Keep the photos coming it always looks good there in Goon Valley, where the bluebells grow.

Thanks

Hi Tony,
Great waterfall action. Is it dippable? Or are there fish in there you don't want to mess with.

That is a great paint job on the A3 and a post war number not often modeled.

Thanks for sharing and do keep the posts, explanations and photos coming.

Looks very good sir, river is a bit low though. Hopefully with the rain over the winter you will get enough in there so that the locals won't have to suffer a water shortage.
Nice set of Thompsons.
Thanks and do keep the photos coming.

Tony,
What a great set of videos. Looking forward to seeing the renewal of Hogwarts.

That was a very interesting movie showing the whole layout, really liked the nameplates. took a couple of reads of the Midland sigh as I originally thought it said no work of any sort should be carried out here, a fine motto for a Railway room, upon second reading I see that it is only for the midland well that's just fine too.

Any who I must press on really need to get some bits done on HaverGreen.

Thanks for sharing Tony, and do keep the pictures updates and tales of the town coming. This is a top thread and long may it continue.

Thank you

Hi Tony,
Great to have you back. Really good story about the Scot, how many times have our eyes played a trick like that on us? I lose count. but that must have been one very dirty Scot.

The experimental liveries were great with a real variety in there, do you have any others?

Sounds to me like the Grand-daughter has very good tast indeed. Is that the third 47 I have seen on the GVR? I do hope that you are not starting on a modernisation programme, there has to always be room for steam??

It's always great to see more trains on your layout thank you for sharing with us.

Hi Tony,
Apple green on the southern, well they did have Bulleid so why not. Will look forward to seeing 10001, good luck with her.

I think you have about as many diesels as I do.

Best wishes to you and Fred.

Thanks

Hi tony,
God looking diesel action there. Congrats on your recent anniversary, I hope that you celebrated in the appropriate fashion. With the twins LMS diesels are they actually identical or are there any differences?

Thanks as ever

Hi Tony,
A visual treat that's for sure.

I cannie spot the middle two but the hornby tender drive is too easy for words, Flying Scotsman 105 in the very fore is Victor Wild.

No the black one at the back, I cannie read her too well but I am guessing at either 545 or 543, now I am doing this without my copy of Yeadons to hand so please bear with me, either The White Knight (545) or Bayardo (543).

Fingers crossed for the big day. Where do I tick the box to Gift aid this?

Thanks as ever for sharing some top shots of a really great Locomotive collection and Railway.

Hi Tony,
Thanks for posting those. I must confess to not being familiar with the Trix brand, were they around for long or have many items in the range? The only other one I have heard of is the A2.

Do we have a winner for the Santa Specials?

Thanks
Simon
