Don't really agree with that as their models are now so brilliant and accurate that they really appeal to serious modellers. We all accept we have to take great care in handling them and they really are not intended for very young children.
Hats off to Hornby(and Bachmann) they are doing a brilliant job and Hornby have to be congratulated immensly for turning roud a struggling company and making it the success it is.

Next Year M7 mark my words.

Would love a Blue Pullman but will they ?

As one who voted for and was a little disappointed to hear Hornby are not making a Blue Pullman , I still think Simon Kohler has presented good arguments for what they have done and the aim to use the Pendolino as an attraction for todays generation to join our great hobby is of course an excellent marketing ploy.

I wonder if the success or not of the Lord of the isles set which is a really old mould, will influence Hornby to then consider a Blue Pullman. I don't think most of us want super detail and many of us would buy 2 or more to modify the coaches to what we want.

It was mentioned elsewhere that Inter City Models were going to do a Blue Pullman. Is it available now or something for the future. Are there any more details available ?
