Pat Hammond tells us in his latest tomb (The Story of Rovex Vol 3-great read!) that in the mid nineties Hornby measured up a 313 emu (as running with Silverlink and WAGN) which he says is almost indentical to a 314 (Scotrail), 315 (Great Eastern), and 507/508 (Merseyrail and ex-Southern Region). All I can say is YES PLEASE! The Hornby 2 car Networker would be great if I was planning a layout of the London Bridge to London Victoria via Peckham Rye service, but I'm not and how many people are? If my pal in the trade is right and Hornby are releasing a brand-new model of the Pendelino in 2006 (not the old Dapol model) that's great, but please don't forget the bread-and-butter models. I want a model railway, not a pendelino/eurostar/225 trainset.
