I was browsing the 2006 Hornby catalogue this evening and noticed the loco in the "Thomas & Friends" section. That positioning may say all you need to know, though some of the buildings look tasty enough.
If the Hornby genie was to grant me a wish I'd ask for a steam loco chassis which had a mounting point for a "Piston Sync" detector for hooking up to sound chips. I'm a great believer in planning ahead on stuff like that - design it in now, use it later.
Oh and a BR liveried TPO. I have one of the '60s vintage maroon models but have long since lost the ramps for the treadles.
