QUOTE (Robert Stokes @ 20 Aug 2008, 18:15) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>For at least three weeks I have wanted to buy some Conrad point motors. Every time I go to their website it says that it is being reorganised. It says that you can buy from the parent site in Germany but I don't want to order from a foreign language site and I don't fancy paying the postage from Germany.
How long can a company keep its website down and expect to stay in business? Does anyone know whether you can order from them by telephone (I can't find a number) or even by old fashioned letter?
Thank you, Robert.
Hello Robert,
The Conrad U.K. site has been out of action for many, many months. I know the 11.99 Euro postage is a bit of a pain but I find the International site very efficient and the staff much more helpful than the U.K. ones ever were.
The International site says that Conrad will accept orders Online, over the Phone, By Email and by Post. It gives the U.K. phone number as 08707 323223.
