I've had a couple of these problems from two US dealers. Both of them were operating through Ebay, one of which I had to report and pursue for some time. The first one sent the goods promptly but would not communicate at all. The second one sold me goods he did not have and charged me for them when I bought as a buy it now item. He would not refund the money so I had to report him. I ended up getting stuff I didn't really want as I had no other option. I tend to send a questionaire to US dealers now before I buy as I haven't had this experience from dealers from the UK or Germany.

QUOTE I have never heard of a split shipment policy like Modelzone's before; has anyone else? Sounds like you need to give them another ring to say you are not impressed and neither are your friends when you tell them they've held back an item for almost 6 months because they don't part ship I haven't either. The shop I deal with the most, Modellbahn Kramm used to try to get a bunch things to together in my orders to get a balance but if they know nothing else on my list would be available for some time they would ship immediately. I know ask them to send all items together as it saves me on postage. Most shops will do as you ask them to.
