Hi,

Im going to build a roadway into my layout for a bus and maybe afew cars etc. I had a loook at the space on the layout boards and Im going to be quite hard pushed for space. I was just wondering how wide the road should be, so I can start to map it out now so we can build the track around it...

Thanks.

A comprehensive list of road widths was posted in a thread in the last couple of months. Try the Search facility to locate it.

When using the bus don't forget to allow for the front overhang & the length of the vehicle to "cut in", allow even more if you intend using an artic or drawbar truck. Best bet as you are tight for space would be to experiment with a piece of board, the roadway wire & masking tape to check turning circles clearances ect. Most of the Faller road vehicles will turn in a tighter space than Faller recommend.

Hope this helps & good luck - let us know how you get on.
