Competition open to Model Rail Forum members only. Registration is easy.

Ontracks, one of the UK's fastest growing online hobby retailers, have combined with Model Rail Forum, quickly gaining recognition as one of the UK's leading interactive websites for railway modellers, to sponsor the latest competition.

And what a loco Ontracks have come up with!

The winner will receive the latest Hornby B17 4-6-0 Locomotive "Everton" in BR green livery! This is a top of the range Hornby loco and well worth winning! So a big thank you to Ontracks for this!

Everton may not be enjoying much success on the pitch at the moment but you can enjoy success off the pitch. Now you could become the surprise winner of the latest Model Rail Forum competition. Previous winners have expressed their delight at winning a competition for the first time. It could be your turn!

To enter the competition simply answer the question below that relates to the recent Ontracks Continental Show Open Day held at their premises, and submit your answer to Model Rail Forum using the link below the question. The answer is somewhere in the Model Rail Forum report of the event. Those answering correctly will go into the prize draw. The winner will be announced shortly after 5th November, the last day for competition entries.

The question is as follows:-

What is the special promotion price of the Noch/Marklin Z Gauge railway layout package shown at the Ontracks Continental Modelling Open Day?

The Model Rail Forum show report is available here. The answer is contained in the report or in the images.

Please send your answer, including your Model Rail Forum user id (not password), to:-

[email protected]

The competition closes at midnight on Saturday 5th November and entries for the draw will not be accepted after this date. Those Model Rail Forum members with correct answers will be entered into a draw and one winner will be selected at random and the winner notified by email. Only one entry per competition entrant will be placed in the draw. The competition is open to Model Rail Forum members only.

Just to say folks that we have received our first competition entries so it all works!

We won't acknowledge the receipt of entries but trust us, they are all getting logged.

A sincere thank you to Model Rail Forum for my unexpected prize.
I almost didn't bother to enter as I normally never win anything - I am so glad I did!

My lifestyle dictates that I am rarely in the same place for any length of time and I cannot rely on regular access to the internet either, which is why I am late in responding here. The locomotive has already been delivered to my next port of call (very quick response!) but I won't be able to join it until the weekend at the earliest.

I'm really looking forward to it and thank you once again, MRF.
