ZTC and Sound decoders

Just got an email from a mate in UK that has ZTC control systems and sound decoders? It appears that a collaberation has occured between ZTC and Soundtraxx to produce sound decoders for the British market. Looking at the enclosed pamphlet it looks like old DSD100 decoders form the basis of the line. Having struggled in the past to get these decoders into US and Australian models which are generally larger despite the smaller scale I wonder how they are going to fit in a British loco?

I'd be interested to hear more about this. It would be a mission getting sound decoders into some of the UK locos I've had the misfortune to have to install decoders into.

so we can ear mark your prospective supply as O gauge decoder then

BTW I was at Rail Wells on Saturday & ZTC had their normal counter there. They had the same GWR praire tank (in O gauge
) there with sound yes it does sound good but no care and attention had been taken to properly co-ordinate wheels with sound. If it was my company I would want to project co-ordinated sound realistically. Perhaps I'm being a bit unfair, but that was my impression.
