todays delivery has just arrived , a battered princess with tender (4.00) and a boxed r251 (3.50) seems some one added a load of clay? to the inside of loco body ,needs a good clean and a much needed service, princess is seized on the piston rods, so body in the bin and work to do

i guessed so but motor was gummed up with it also have now sorted it and runs , not perfect but at least saved yet another :) princess thought was a right off took the body off and this is what it looked like , strange thing is though had a new unused set of brushes in it ,, here is pics and a short vid

Well guess that depends exactly which bits you are referring to, mine are the ones was born with, in terms of the Princess Elizabeth’s see the pics below perhaps -

As can be seen only one tender and as mentioned previously they are very old and never run that am aware of, also as you may see in the pics some signs of rust on the rods.
However might still be of use to you for spares / parts perhaps ?
Let us know if so and can sort out posting them up to you.

lol just a little work and a few quid in parts , but had a play with the motor this evening and i kid you not its rusted solid as per the pics ,but soaked it in wd40 in a jar when it come in just striped it out put it back together and it sparked into life then caught fire lol but run slow and even for a couple of mins put back in jar and left it to soak

morning all
came across a few corridor ends? for coaches ,must be pre war tin plate and from trix ,am now in the process of removing the tin lugs and fitting the to my main passenger coaches (blood and custard pair) before pics filled 1 already
