This is simply about stock selection. Anyone out there know much about the WCML near to the London end? I've got models of most of the usual suspects (Class 66's, Pendolino, some electric freight etc). But I fancy a class 57 especially with sound. I do see Virgin 57s but they only seems to pull broken down trains and I can't afford the space for that. So- can anyone tell me, do they ever do anything else? Or what about Freightliner 57s- when did they end?, and did they ever come South? Finally, do DRS 57s ever come South. I fully realise none of them are common, but I'm looking for thr best option!

West Coast Rail Co has two 57's, 57601 - the type with big lights and the old headcode box gone, and one of the ones that still look like a 47, its an ex Freightliner 57001. Both in WCR red with a black strip between the cab doors. I also see thay another one in the yard covered over Advenzarail or something like that on the side 57005, I'll have a walk down later and see what I can find, may get a few photos!!!

Do Network rail not own all the exVirgin ones now, there are a few photos fo the in Yellow?
