some progress pics of my layouts, first the bottom layout which is DC operated, this all works as it should, but still quite a lot of scenery work to do

M second layout that im building above the bottom layout, this is going to be DCC controlled, i have all the wood work done, the bus line are all in and connected, and i have quite a bit of track layed, and dropper wires connected to the bus line
Hi Andrew,
Very nice indeed & looks like you will have the best of both worlds DC / DCC wise between the two split level layouts too; also nice to see your loco display cases in the background as well.
Looks like a very compact & clever set up overall.
The "fairy" lighting at the back on the underside of the high level layout seems to work very well too.
Sure there will be lots of fun ahead - are you modelling any particular location / region out of interest, can see the lower / DC layout is very much stone based in the building models shown ?
Anyway Good Luck with further progress & Happy Modelling, Cheers for now, Norm
Hi Norman, thanks for the comments, no particular location, but the 1960 to 68 era, as most of my locos are i Br green and black, as this was when i did most of my train spotting when i was a kid.
thanks Shedman, i hope not also, it should be ok, i have tiny number stickers on the tenders so i know what my DCC loco numbers are
